HAMPTONS JAZZ FEST WINTER SERIES: Manuel Valera & New Cuban Express

Join Southampton Arts Center and Hamptons Jazz Fest Winter Series as we present Manuel Valera & New Cuban Express for an evening of jazz and cocktails! Mix and mingle with musicians at 6 PM during our social hour with bar service. Concert will begin at 7 PM. Tables are first come, first serve.

Grammy nominated artist, pianist and composer Manuel Valera has become well known in the NYC modern jazz scene, garnering national reviews and lending his talents as a pianist and composer to such notable artist as Arturo Sandoval, Paquito D’Rivera, Brian Lynch, Dafnis Prieto, Jeff “Tain” Watts, John Benitez, Samuel Torres, Joel Frahm, Yosvany Terry among many others. Manuel Valera & the New Cuban Express, a project deeply influenced by the experiments of Cuban artists from the 70s and 80s. While inspired by artists Irakere, Emiliano Salvador and AfroCuba, this touring band creates a unique and distinctive style that mixes elements of Jazz, R&B, fusion and funk with Cuban music styles.

General admission with cabaret style and general seating. Tables are first come, first serve. Doors open at 6 PM for the social hour. Concert begins at 7 PM. Cash bar available.
