Description
IN COLLABORATION WITH SOUTHAMPTON AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM
Join SAC and Southampton African American Museum (SAAM) for a screening of the short film The Inventor, followed by a Q&A with film producers, director, and cast, moderated by SAAM founder Brenda Simmons and Dr. Anita Farrington of STEM Impact LLC. In partnership with Art & Soul Hamptons, light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.
Art & Soul Hamptons is designed to highlight, showcase, and celebrate art created by influential and emerging Black and Brown artists living within the Hampton community, and beyond. The three-day event will encourage people to visit Southampton to support, engage, and connect with artists of color. This experience will consist of an art walk, live music and entertainment, soulful cuisine, supporting Black-owned businesses, and learning about the Native American Shinnecock tribe.
