ECO: SYLVESTER MANOR OLD-GROWTH FOREST NETWORK DEDICATION

Join Old-Growth Forest Network founder Dr. Joan Maloof for the Dedication of Shelter Island's Sylvester Manor Southwestern Woodlands into the Old-Growth Forest Network. The Dedication will be followed by a guided walk through the old-growth oak, hickory and pine woodland at the historic property, listed as a site of national significance on the National Register of Historic Places. Enter and park at the Quaker Cemeteryentrance on North Ferry Road, west of the main Sylvester Manor entrance. Dress for the weather and for a ±1-mile walk across uneven ground.
